EVERGREEN PARK, IL — Evergreen Park police are looking for a man in a red, sporty car tied to a suspicious incident that happened Tuesday morning near a park.
Around 9:25 a.m., the woman told police she was near Circle Park in the 9600 block of South Homan Avenue, when she was approached by a disheveled stranger. The man asked for directions and made inappropriate comments.
When the woman became frightened, the man got into a bright red, sport 2-door Honda Civic and left, heading east on 97th Street. The car had black rims and a sunroof, and a possible partial license plate with the letters "CHI," police said.

The man is described as Hispanic or Middle Eastern in his twenties, with a thin build. He had disheveled hair and dirty, crooked teeth. He was wearing a red hoodie, dark pants, with a blue surgical mask under his chin, and spoke with an accent.
