And Mel C proved to be just as athletic as her nickname as she headed into Dancing with the Stars rehearsals in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning.
The 47-year-old popstar flashed her shredded abs while wearing a 'Sporty' cropped sweatshirt after impressing the judges on the first night of competition.

Her black hooded sweatshirt was slashed across the waist and featured 'Team Sporty' in bold block lettering.
She rocked a matching pair of shorts and a sports bra, and pounded the pavement in neon trainers.
Mel's dark brown hair was slicked back into a tight bun and she wore a pair of oversized frames while carrying a big black bag.

She opened up the season 30 premiere of DWTS by dancing to her own Spice Girls song Wannabe.
Mel admitted that she was nervous about falling during her routine and confessed: 'I don't want to become a meme.'
The Say You'll Be There singer partnered up with season 28 finalist Gleb Savchenko, who said he was excited to teach her the Cha-cha-cha.

Len Goodman, DWTS head judge, told Melanie that she danced 'absolutely terrific' and that her performance was first class.
The judges gave the couple a total score of 27 out of 40 for their first dance on Monday night, which also happened to be the Spice Girls' album 25th anniversary.
'It's so incredible. Myself and the girls we still can't believe the success we had across the globe and the amazing fans we still have out there. Thank you,' Mel said.
