European tuner Carlex Design is known for cranking out some pretty sweet versions of exotics sports cars, and SUVs, and even pickups. But for those that need a little more utility, Carlex also builds one of the coolest-looking vans on the planet – the Ford Transit Custom X Final Edition. It’s also arguably the most attractive-looking Transit on earth, too.
Regardless, the Carlex Design Transit Custom X Final Edition wears some of the most aggressive bodywork we’ve ever seen affixed to Ford’s hauler of things, and we’re certainly digging the red graphics that contrast the exterior design perfectly.
The body modifications consist of adding a new front bumper and grille, side skirts, fender flares, rear spoiler, and rear bumper with a crazy-looking rear diffuser, along with some unique black 18-inch Carlex wheels or 18-inch OZ Racing alloys, which are wrapped in Michelin 255/45ZR18 Pilot Sport 4 tires.
The Transit Custom X Final Edition is available in a host of exterior color options including Frozen White, Moondust Silver, Magentic, Agate Black, Diffused Silver, Orange Glow, Race Red, Kapoor Red, Blazer Black, or Chrome Blue.
The exterior isn’t the only part of the Transit that gets a racy upgrade, either. Inside the cabin, the stock front seats are ditched in favor of comfy and supportive sport seats, which are trimmed in black leather and Alcantara. Buyers get their choice of a gray or red center stripe, which makes them look even sportier.
The rest of the interior is upgraded with a new steering wheel lined with perforated leather and red stitching and accents, leather door armrests with red accents, and a new red gauge cluster.
Altogether, these upgrades take the somewhat mundane Transit and transform it into a seriously good-looking van that’s bound to turn heads everywhere it goes – as crazy as that might sound.
