Alfa Romeo, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles’s top sport luxury brand, offers the Giulia, a beautiful sporty sedan with Italian class. From Pasta Fagioli to cannolis, this one has something for everyone.
Our Giulia comes with the Quadrifoglio package, an appearance- and engine-boosting model sure to get your head spinning. Coming in with a muscular 505 Italian horses under the hood, the endless power is something special. This is now one of our favorite sedans due to its looks, ability and overall performance.
Similar to our recently tested Stelvio, the Giulia is an absolute road warrior. Zero to 60 came in at 3.8 seconds. Topping out at a whopping 191 mph, the 2.9L turbocharged V6 Quadrifoglio is a rare breed sporty sedan.
“For the 2020 model year, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio received notable enhancements, including available level 2 autonomous driving capability and an upgraded interior with all-new center console, available wireless charging phone stowage area and standard 8.8-inch touch screen display,” said Bob Broderdorf, director of Alfa Romeo Sales North America. “Combine these enhancements with Alfa Romeo’s brand hallmarks of seductive Italian styling and exhilarating driving dynamics, and the Giulia Quadrifoglio continues to set the benchmark for premium performance sedans.”
Quadrifoglio — translating to “four-leaf clover” in Italian — certainly brings luck to the driver. The interior is racy and sleek. Its engine start button is big and red, right on the steering wheel, an Alfa Romeo feature that is really aesthetically correct and standard.
“Despite a relatively recent return to the U.S. market Alfa Romeo’s products are fully competitive with traditional luxury brands like Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz. The Quadrifoglio versions of Alfa Romeo’s Giulia and Stelvio are among the most engaging models offered in their respective segments,” said Karl Brauer, executive analyst for iSeeCars.com.
The exterior is a smooth, sporty body offering a nod to its competitors, the BMW M4 and Audi’s RS5. The recognized upside down triangular Molto Bello front fascia ensemble is big and stout and is sure to be noticed by drivers in oncoming traffic as the Trofeo White Tri-Coat Quadrifoglio adorned with a green four leaf clover on the side is a standout.
From the interior comfort to the responsive acceleration pedal all the way to the noise of the throaty exhaust pipes, the Giulia Quadrifoglio is an all-around charmer and a consumer favorite.
